$17.00-$19.50 per hour to start (skill-based growth and advancement) This Is Not Just an Entry-Level Office Job PM Research is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, customer-first Customer Service Representative who wants to build real office, fulfillment, and business operations skills. This role is for someone who can: Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers Learn systems quickly and use them accurately Balance customer service, order entry, and fulfillment support with strong follow-through Put the customer first while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and urgency If you are looking for a low-responsibility office role where details, systems, and customer experience do not matter, this is not the right fit. What You'll Do Customer Service Representatives at PM Research are trusted to support customers, process orders, and help ensure smooth coordination between office and fulfillment functions. Performance is evaluated on professionalism, responsiveness, attention to detail, learning ability, and follow-through.
Responsibilities include:
Entering and processing customer orders accurately Answering phones, emails, and other customer communications Assisting customers with questions, order status, and service-related issues Supporting fulfillment and shipment of customer orders including Air, Model, Sporting Goods, domestic, international, and other orders Assembling installation kits, boxes, and packaging materials as needed Maintaining accurate customer, order, and communication records Supporting communication and coordination between customer service, fulfillment, sales, purchasing, receiving, and production Learning and using business systems and software accurately and efficiently, including Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and Word, NetSuite ERP, and AI tools such as ChatGPT Supporting general office and administrative work as assigned You are expected to help create a professional, responsive, and dependable customer experience while supporting the operational follow-through behind it. You will be trained across both customer service and fulfillment support so you can better understand how the business operates and how customer expectations connect to order execution. Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required Strong verbal, written, and digital communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to learn order entry, fulfillment coordination, and internal office systems Capable of and eager to learn and use business systems and software accurately and efficiently, including Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and Word, NetSuite ERP, and AI tools such as ChatGPT Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Basic math skills including discounts, percentages, proportions, and order-related quantities Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time Physical capability to assist with packing and shipping product, including lifting and maneuvering up to 50 pounds and bulky items Ability to work in and transition through both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned areas as needed Reliable attendance is an essential function of the role Valid Class D driver's license required Ability to independently travel between Plant 1 and Plant 2 (2 miles) as needed Compensation, Profit Sharing & Benefits PM Research rewards performance, quality, and long-term contribution.
