Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and swiftly. Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product inquiries or demos to enhance their shopping experience. Handle cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity. Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented. Support upselling efforts by suggesting complementary products and informing customers about current promotions. Manage stock levels by assisting with inventory counts and replenishing merchandise as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly, maintaining phone etiquette, and fostering a friendly environment. Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to serve diverse customers effectively. Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management. Excellent phone etiquette, active listening skills, and a positive attitude to engage with customers confidently. Experience in product demos, and upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
