Job Description We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to serve as a primary point of contact for our clients. In this role, you will respond to customer inquiries, manage incoming calls, and provide prospective and existing clients with accurate, detailed information regarding our insurance products and services. You may also review policy information and coordinate with sales agents when coverage needs to be initiated, updated, or expanded. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. A successful Customer Service Representative is courteous, detail-oriented, and efficient in handling client interactions, resolving questions, and providing policy-related support with accuracy and care. Responsibilities Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's insurance products and services. Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries. Access and review customer accounts, policy details, and coverage schedules accurately. Provide clients with clear, detailed information regarding insurance policies, coverage options, and related services. Prepare, process, and distribute policy documents and other correspondence to clients in a timely manner. Coordinate with sales agents when policies need to be initiated, updated, or expanded to meet client needs. Proactively reach out to existing clients to review their needs, strengthen relationships, identify opportunities for additional coverage or services, and coordinate next steps with sales agents when appropriate. Prepare and manage quotes for new business opportunities and requote existing clients as needed to ensure coverage remains competitive, accurate, and aligned with client needs. Maintain accurate client records, update database information, and draft professional email communications as needed. Use sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve client concerns and support a positive customer experience. Requirements/Skills Active Property and Casualty insurance license required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the insurance industry. Professional, courteous demeanor with a strong commitment to client service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address client concerns effectively and professionally. Proficiency with basic computer applications and database systems. Accurate typing and data entry skills (Microsoft Office). Working knowledge of multi-line telephone and call routing systems.
