team. This role is essential in supporting our thrift store operations by providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transaction processes. Your contributions will help us fulfill our mission of aiding individuals in recovery. Responsibilities Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience. Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawers. Assist with merchandising and stocking of products on the sales floor. Support job-training initiatives for Teen Challenge students. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Communicate effectively with team members and customers. Participate in inventory management as needed. Qualifications Must be over 18 Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role within retail. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems is highly preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. Experience in retail sales is a plus but not mandatory.
