Job Description

Seeking Friendly and Responsive Customer Service Individual for Well-Established Upscale Caregiver Referral Service. Our cheerful, sunny office needs someone in office 2 to 4 days a week to answer phones and emails, communicate with clients, caregivers and healthcare professionals, assist with scheduling and other administrative tasks. Individual must have experience in customer service, working with MS Office, and be a self-starter, good at managing time. Our company style is unique and we will train in all areas. Position requires juggling 10-20 phone calls/day, 20-40 emails/day, taking notes and tracking all changes, while maintaining a friendly attitude, sometimes under pressure from people in difficult situations. There is no face-to-face contact with clients required, though employee will occasionally meet caregivers. Office is in SW PDX near Multnomah Village with parking available; candidate must be willing to work from our office.
Part-time to full-time position includes:
Two to four 9-hr weekday shifts 8:45am-6:15pm in office (30 minute lunch). We are highly-selective, seeking the right person and willing to accept either part-time or full-time employee. Occasional extra hours for vacation coverage/projects may be available. Position is long term. We are hoping to match with a candidate who would like to stick with us for years to come. No experience in healthcare field required.
Requirements:
  • Cell phone, computer, and reliable transportation.
  • High level of attention to detail, data tracking, ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and quickly change direction.
  • Experience with MS Office, including Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills; articulate, empathetic , clear communicator, cheerful .
  • Knowledge of the Portland Metro area, and ability to work with maps a plus.
