Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Assist dentists during various comprehensive treatments and exams. Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) through Dentrix. Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice Open to newly licensed Dental Hygienist. Proficiency with Dentrix for documentation review and dental coding helpful. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively. Strong communication skills to educate patients clearly about their oral health. Pay:

$60.65 - $67.77 per hour
