Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges with speed and precision Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections Manage cash handling responsibilities, including counting cash drawers, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are properly faced Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries, ensuring clear and professional communication Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock replenishment to keep the store well-stocked and inviting Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly and professional manner Basic math skills necessary for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Experience with POS systems or familiarity with retail technology enhances efficiency on the sales floor Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in creating a vibrant shopping environment where every customer feels valued!
