Job Description
Customer Service & Kit Auditor Location:
Tualatin, OR Pay:
$20-$22
DOE Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with occasional overtime, as business requires This is a temp-to-hire position! Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join their electronics manufacturing team. This position combines customer service responsibilities with auditing electronic component kits used in circuit board assembly.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers regarding orders, questions, material shortages, and job status. Respond to customer emails and phone calls in a professional and timely manner. Review electronic component kits against Bills of Materials (BOMs). Verify manufacturer part numbers, quantities, descriptions, and other component information. Count and verify electronic components provided. Identify shortages, incorrect parts, substitutions, and discrepancies. Document kit discrepancies and communicate issues to customers and internal departments. Work with purchasing, production, and inside sales to resolve material issues. Maintain accurate records of customer-supplied components and kit audits. Assist with inventory verification and component reconciliation as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience (Required) Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check (Required) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working with numbers, part numbers, and detailed documentation Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel and general computer skills Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others Ability to organize and prioritize multiple customer orders Ability to lift and transport materials weighing up to 40 pounds Ability to read and understand written documentation in English Experience with electronic components, PCB assembly, Bills of Materials (BOMs), inventory, or kitting preferred Ability to identify common electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, ICs, and connectors, a plus Previous experience in electronics manufacturing a plus High school diploma or
