Job Description

Customer Service Representative Some people have a way of making others feel comfortable almost immediately. They listen properly, notice what has not been said and do not settle for the first easy answer. That is the kind of person we want representing our security business in Philadelphia . This Customer Service Representative position is for someone who enjoys solving problems and wants somewhere they can build a proper career. You will support new and existing clients face-to-face, over the phone and through email, helping them understand their options and finding the security package or service that genuinely fits what they need. You do not need to arrive knowing everything about security systems. We will teach you. What we cannot teach as easily is natural emotional intelligence, curiosity and the ability to make someone feel that their concern is being taken seriously. The Work You Will Be Trusted With Security questions are not always straightforward. One client may need help understanding their software, while another may want to compare systems for a home or commercial property. You will ask the right questions, explain the available options clearly and stay involved until there is an outcome.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming clients visiting the Philadelphia office Responding to customer questions by phone and email Understanding each client's property, concerns and expectations Explaining security systems, software features and service packages Helping prospective clients select an appropriate option without applying unnecessary pressure Resolving account, appointment and general service questions Coordinating installations, demonstrations and follow-up appointments Working with Security Operations Analysts and technical teams Recording conversations, decisions and actions accurately in the CRM Following open cases until the customer has received an answer Handling concerns calmly and escalating technical matters correctly Gathering feedback after support has been provided Four Weeks to Learn the Business Your first four weeks will be fully paid training. You will learn about our security systems, monitoring services, customer software, available packages and internal processes. Training will combine product sessions, system practice, call observation and supervised client conversations. By the end of the program, you should be able to explain the main services confidently, handle common questions and recognize when specialist support is required. Where Strong Performance Can Lead We are growing and want to invest in people who can grow with us. Once you have built strong product knowledge and consistently delivered a high standard of customer support, you may be given opportunities to assist with training new team members and coordinating daily workloads. The next potential step is Shift Leader, followed by wider customer-service management responsibilities as suitable positions become available. Progression is based on performance, reliability, leadership ability and business requirements. Pay, Schedule and Bonus This is a full-time, on-site position working Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. , with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. There are no regular weekend shifts. Pay is $23.00-$25.00 per hour , depending on relevant experience. You can earn up to $400 per month through a clearly measured performance bonus. This is based on verified customer-satisfaction feedback, resolution quality, record accuracy and completing promised follow-ups. It is not based solely on sales.
