Polymer Molding, Inc. is looking for a Customer Service & EDI Specialist to join our Sales team in Erie, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional who enjoys solving problems, managing customer relationships, and working closely with multiple departments to keep orders moving smoothly. In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting our customers from purchase order through shipment while managing EDI transactions, Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs), customer pricing, order requirements, and related documentation. Hands-on EDI and ASN experience is required. Experience with IQMS is strongly preferred. What You'll Do As a Customer Service & EDI Specialist, you will: Manage customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently from receipt through fulfillment. Process and monitor EDI transactions and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements. Prepare and manage Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs). Utilize IQMS to manage customer and order-related information and activities. Build strong customer relationships by responding promptly to questions regarding orders, products, pricing, delivery, shipping, and quality. Maintain accurate customer pricing and related information within the ERP system. Process customer credit applications and supporting documentation. Investigate customer concerns and complaints and coordinate timely resolutions with internal teams. Authorize Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) and complete required documentation. Support month-end activities by processing commissions and preparing sales reports. Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, Shipping, Quality, Accounting, Production, and other departments. Help maintain an organized, efficient workflow within the Sales Department. Support company ISO requirements and Quality Policy. Assist Sales leadership and management with special projects and other initiatives as needed. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven manufacturing environment. Required Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on EDI and ASN experience. 2+ years of customer service, order management, sales support, or related office experience. Experience processing and managing customer purchase orders. Strong computer and data-entry skills with excellent attention to accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple customer accounts, orders, priorities, and deadlines. Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional internal teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with IQMS or another manufacturing ERP system. Customer service experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience supporting automotive manufacturing customers. Familiarity with ISO requirements and automotive quality standards.
