You'll play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping experience while ensuring fast, accurate checkouts. We are looking to fill positions for our new flagship Delco Farmers Market grocery store location. We are looking to hire for multiple positions, with lots of availability for new roles. Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Assist customers in locating products and making informed purchasing decisions. Maintain stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring products are neatly displayed and replenished as needed. Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales. Utilize basic math skills to handle cash transactions and provide change accurately. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to foster a collaborative work environment. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone. Support sales efforts by actively selling products and promoting special offers. Assist with inventory management tasks, including restocking shelves and organizing stockroom items. Operate POS systems to process payments and issue receipts Bag groceries and handle returns as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization at the register Count and balance cash drawer at the end of the shift Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with customers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions. Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus but training will be provided. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to product knowledge and sales techniques.
