Full-Time Union Position Schedule & Conditions:
(1) 8:00 to 4:30 PM & (1) 8:30 to 5:00 Monday through Friday 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week Work performed indoors in an office setting About the Role MAWC is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Posting Clerk to support daily office operations in a fast-paced environment. This role involves mail processing, posting payments, customer interactions, and supporting various customer service and emergency dispatch functions as needed. Key Responsibilities Open and sort incoming mail and post payments in the customer record management/billing software Scan checks for bank deposits and reconcile with the billing software Prepare outgoing mail and apply postage Operate the customer drive-thru and handle customer interactions and process various forms of payments Distribute returned mail appropriately across the contact center Support/Fill-in for Customer Service Representative positions as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Phone coverage- Property Transfers/No-liens- Wastewater Laterals Inspections Fill in for dispatch shifts as needed (including 2nd and 3rd shift coverage) Answer a high volume of calls and resolve inbound customer inquires, providing courteous, efficient support. Process customer payments over the phone and accurately post transactions. Utilize the customer record management/billing system to research accounts, update customer records, and communicate account information. Coordinate communication and scheduling for water and sewer service orders at customers' homes and businesses. Enter and maintain asset data in the Asset Management/Work Order system. Perform high‑volume data entry and basic math calculations with precision. Use GIS mapping tools to support customer inquiries and field coordination. Handle email correspondence professionally and promptly; manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Problem‑solve and follow through to ensure issues are resolved. Communicate directly with coworkers across all departments regarding customer inquiries. Process daily mail and customer payments Maintain clear and detailed communication logs Utilize multiple software platforms, including:

/ Muni-Link Customer Record Management System Geographic Information System (GIS) - Utility Data Map Viewer Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Work Order Management System Invoice Cloud Payment Processo r
Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Experience:
3+ years in customer service, administrative, teller, clerk experience.
Skills:
Strong computer and typing skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized; basic math proficiency; clear communication and sound problem‑solving.
