Job Description

Greet customers and assist with service and parts-related inquiries Open, manage, and close repair orders accurately and timely Communicate customer concerns and repair requests to technicians and management Prepare estimates for repairs, labor, and parts Coordinate parts ordering, availability, and staging for scheduled repairs Maintain communication with customers regarding repair status, delays, and completion timelines Process parts sales and assist with identifying appropriate parts as needed Review technician recommendations and communicate additional repair needs to customers Ensure accurate documentation of labor, parts, and customer approvals Maintain organized records and workflow within the dealership management system Work collaboratively with the parts and service departments to minimize downtime and improve efficiency Assist with scheduling service appointments as needed Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards Perform additional duties as assigned Prior experience in a dealership, trucking, automotive, service, or parts environment preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership management software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, and management Knowledge of truck parts, service operations, or heavy-duty equipment preferred Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and maintain composure under pressure Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time Ability to occasionally lift and move items up to 75 pounds Ability to work in both office and shop environments as needed
