National Exemption Service (NES) is looking for a Client Relations Specialist to join our team. This position is a great fit for someone who is personable, professional, organized, and comfortable working directly with clients. Our Client Relations team plays an important role at NES. You will get to know our clients, understand their needs, help work through concerns, and coordinate with departments throughout the company to make sure things get handled. This is not a position where you simply answer a question and move on to the next one. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through, and wants to build real working relationships with the clients they support. What You'll Do As a Client Relations Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for our clients and work closely with departments throughout National Exemption Service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients Serve as a primary point of contact for client questions, concerns, and service needs Respond to clients in a timely, professional, and helpful manner Work with internal departments to research issues and find solutions Follow client concerns through to resolution rather than simply passing them along Keep clients informed and provide updates when an issue requires additional research or time Maintain accurate records of client conversations, requests, and feedback Update and maintain client information in our CRM Learn NES products and services so you can confidently answer questions and provide accurate information Identify opportunities where another NES service may be helpful to an existing client Participate in client meetings and other relationship-building opportunities Travel to meet with clients when needed Work Schedule & Location This is a full-time position based out of our Safety Harbor, Florida office . The first 90 days of training will be completed in office . After successfully completing the training period, the position will transition to a hybrid schedule with approximately 1-2 days per week in office . Candidates should be able to reliably commute to our Safety Harbor office during the initial training period and as required under the hybrid schedule. Travel This position does include some travel. Client Relations Specialists may travel for in-person client meetings, property visits, relationship building, or other business needs. Travel may be up to approximately one week per month when needed. It may not happen every month, but applicants should be comfortable with travel being a regular part of the position. Company-paid airfare, hotel accommodations, and rental cars are provided for required business travel. What We're Looking For You do not need to know the utility management or submetering industry on day one. We can teach you our business. What is harder to teach is how to communicate well, listen to a client, stay calm when there is a problem, and make sure something gets handled from beginning to end. We are looking for someone who has: Previous experience in client relations, account management, customer service, or a similar client-facing role preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills A professional and confident communication style Good judgment and problem-solving skills The ability to work with different personalities and communication styles Strong organization and attention to detail The ability to manage multiple clients, requests, and priorities at the same time A strong sense of follow-through and accountability The ability to work well with different departments and teams Comfort learning new systems, processes, and services CRM experience preferred Willingness and ability to travel as needed Why Join National Exemption Service?
