Join us in our professional office conveniently located just north of the Westchester County Airport off Rte 684 near Armonk, NY. Cavalry Portfolio Services is a financial services company specializing in consumer credit and collections. Cavalry, founded in 2002, helps people create affordable solutions to resolve their debt, and is committed to providing customers with a professional experience. The Position We are looking for the right individual to join our Customer Relations team and be primarily responsible for dispute handling. The position is a great opportunity for an individual to learn about consumer credit.
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing and responding to correspondence mailed in by customers Preparing responses to credit reporting inquiries made by consumers through the major credit bureaus Assisting customers over the telephone (low volume - inbound only) Identifying trends or issues to enhance business processes and compliance to state and federal laws The ideal candidate must have: Strong communication skills, written and verbal Strong reading comprehension skills Working knowledge and experience using MS Office A high level of work ethic and integrity Additionally candidates should be reliable and accountable, someone who can keep cool under pressure and be a team player. Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable but not necessary Class A multi-tenant office space with great amenities including a free gym and onsite cafe.
