Job Overview For our Denton, TX based client in the field of Specialty Gas Management Technology, we are looking for an Industrial Customer Relations Specialist. The Industrial Customer Relations Specialist provides comprehensive assistance to our customers. They deliver product quotations, technical guidance, and general support across all company offerings — including equipment, components, assemblies, and sub‑assemblies. They also manage and expedite purchase orders and internal orders to ensure timely processing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
(including but not limited to) Prepare and deliver accurate product quotations and proposals to customers. Provide clear product guidance, technical information, troubleshooting support, and professional advice through various communication channels, including phone and email. Meet objectives by analyzing data, evaluating options, and presenting well‑reasoned recommendations. Communicate effectively — both verbally and in writing — and supply required documentation to customers, Product Management, Customer Support, and Engineering teams on all relevant matters. Assist with investigations and evaluations, offering recommendations in alignment with company quality policies and procedures. Support and uphold the company's product warranty commitments. Accurately gather, document, and forward all relevant information related to serial number identification, warranty status, issue description, and repair recommendations for inquiries requiring Service Department involvement. Keep management informed of any quality concerns or customer satisfaction issues. Respond to customers within 30 minutes of initial contact. Maintain a daily record of order intake and proposals issued.
REQUIREMENTS 2-3
years of experience in Customer Service, Technical Customer Service experience is a huge advantage Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Fluent verbal and written English skills Ability to accurately distinguish colors, as this is essential for safety‑critical tasks Strong technical problem‑solving skills, including the ability to address issues related to mechanical systems, single‑phase and three‑phase electrical motors, PLC operation and components; experience with medical gas source equipment is an advantage. Excellent organizational skills to coordinate multiple calls and service requests Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and product manuals Capable of performing assigned work independently with minimal supervision.
