THE OPPORTUNITY
Join a growing, established independent insurance agency where your commercial insurance experience and client service skills will make an immediate impact. We are seeking a Commercial Lines CSR to take ownership of a book of business, build strong client relationships, and work closely with producers, carriers, and underwriters to provide outstanding service and insurance solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Will manage an assigned portfolio of commercial accounts and handle day-to-day client service needs, including renewals, endorsements, certificates, policy changes, and other account transactions. This individual will serve as a trusted point of contact for assigned clients, develop strong long-term relationships through proactive communication, and gain a clear understanding of each client's exposures and coverage needs. The Account Manager will work closely with producers on account strategy and renewals, collaborate with carriers and underwriters to obtain appropriate solutions, and ensure client needs are addressed accurately and promptly. The role will also include identifying account-rounding and cross-selling opportunities while supporting overall client retention and agency growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of commercial insurance experience , with a strong understanding of commercial property, casualty, and related coverages. Experience managing a commercial book of business is preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and a high level of attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, solve problems, and collaborate effectively with a team is essential. An active Property & Casualty license is preferred, and a bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
