Job Description
Job Summary A temp-to-hire opportunity is available for a Call Center Representative, Remote in NJ. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping people navigate health care coverage questions, applications, enrollment updates, and related service needs. Candidates who enjoy fast-paced customer support work, clear procedures, ongoing training, and meaningful public-facing service will be well suited for this opportunity. Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from consumers, prospective enrollees, and authorized representatives while following all policies, procedures, performance standards, privacy guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
- Respond to inbound and outbound contacts professionally and accurately across assigned communication channels.
- Track, document, and update all inquiries, applications, enrollment actions, and caller requests using required systems.
- Process health care coverage applications, life event changes, demographic updates, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment period requests.
- Transfer, refer, or escalate callers and issues to the appropriate internal or external resources according to established guidelines.
- Support non-English speaking callers by facilitating translation services and fulfilling requests for materials by mail, email, or download. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $18 to $19 per hour.
- MUST have a laptop
- 8 hour Shift will be assigned anywhere between 8am-8pm ET Required Qualifications and Skills
- Answer and manage high-volume consumer calls in a professional call center environment.
- Process health care coverage applications, eligibility-related information, enrollment updates, and caller requests.
- Accurately document inquiries and service actions in applicable systems.
- Follow established call center procedures, privacy policies, escalation guidelines, and performance standards.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 months of related experience required..
- Strong data entry skills with the ability to enter information accurately while speaking with callers.
- Strong telephone etiquette and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse callers.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with changing caller needs and priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow privacy-related policies and procedures.
