Job Description
Do you love making people smile? The Chocolate Drop Candy Shoppe is looking for a friendly, energetic Customer Service Associate to help create memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors. As a member of our team, you'll be the face of the shop, serving delicious ice cream, helping customers find their favorite treats, and keeping our store clean, organized, and welcoming. Responsibilities Scoop and serve ice cream with accuracy, speed, and a smile. Greet every customer warmly and provide exceptional customer service. Stock candy, chocolates, beverages, and other merchandise. Keep shelves, displays, and coolers neat, organized, and fully stocked. Maintain a clean dining area, service counter, and workspaces throughout the day. Operate the cash register and accurately process customer transactions. Answer customer questions and make recommendations on products and flavors. Help create a fun, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere for guests of all ages. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist with opening and closing duties as needed. Qualifications Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in keeping the shop looking its best, and believes that every customer deserves a great experience. If you enjoy working with people, have a great attitude, and want to be part of a fun, community-focused business, we'd love to meet you! Position starts at $15.10 per hour plus tips. Average hourly rate is between $21-23/hr.
