Job Description

Texas Mobile Radiology is seeking a qualified Healthcare Representative/Dispatcher. The first week will have onsite training in Georgetown. After the first week, it is remote. Must live in the greater Austin, Texas area. This position is responsible for registering patients, verifying insurance, placing orders, uploading paperwork, and providing the Technologist in the field with information on patient exams. This employee will provide direction to the field tech so studies are completed in a timely manner. The employee must maintain a professional demeanor at all times considering the sensitivity of the work. Qualified candidates must meet the following competencies, duties and responsibility: Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Communicate with providers, take doctors orders and input into system.
  • Message information to Technologist in the field for completion.
  • Fax completed results to providers.
  • Must assist Technologist with a variety of daily needs (directions, case type, client info).
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology is a MUST
  • Must be willing to cross-train into Customer Service role.
  • Answer phones in a timely manner. Qualifications/Competencies To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience(Must Haves) High school diploma Medical Assistant or equivalent certification is a must. Hours Monday-Friday 5pm-11pm.
