Job Summary:
Provide responsive front line service to customers: answer inbound phone calls, process orders accurately, and manage shared customer mailboxes so every customer inquiry receives a same day response.
Essential Functions:
Monitor and maintain shared customer service mailboxes, including quotes, order status, and general inquiries Work with inbound phone calls & emails, as forms of communication to address the needs of our customers. Analyze and communicate lead times and customer order status. Investigate and follow up on questions/issues to resolve concerns in an accurate and timely manner. Provide solutions, recommendations and product information with a sense of urgency, positivity and empathy. Enter and confirm customer orders accurately and on time Assist in creating ways for delivering excellent customer service to irate or problematic customers. Other duties as assigned. Education /
Career History:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor degree a plus 2+ years of customer service or order entry experience, industrial or manufacturing environment preferred Experience with ERP order entry and
Microsoft Outlook Professional Qualifications:
Accurate data entry and order processing skills Professional phone manner and clear written communication Able to manage high volume across phone and email without losing accuracy Reliable, organized, and customer first Calm under pressure with a sense of urgency Team player who flags problems early
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
