Hours per week 37.5 hours per week Normal Work Schedule M-Th 8am-5pm, F 8am-12:30pm Job Details HR Service Center Representative Coastal Carolina University seeks applications for the position of HR Service Center Representative for the Office of Human Resources. The position is responsible for supporting the recruitment, hiring, onboarding and processing of employees. Serve as HR point of contact with assigned departments to facilitate the timely processing of human resources related paperwork.

September 15, 2026 . Duties include, but are not limited to:- Initiates new hires, reappointments, separations, along with account, supervisor and other associated changes for all position types including student employees.
- Initiates job postings for all position types. Collaborates with HR-Employment on recruitment and selection activities.
- Initiates classification and compensation related changes and requests. Initiates position description modifications. Collaborates with HR-Class/Comp on related activities.
- Initiates dual employment, bonuses, slotted faculty summer compensation, supplemental pay forms, and other non-base bay increases instituted by the University. Facilitates process to end supplements, when necessary.
- Initiates volunteer and University affiliates transactions.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent ( GED ) and work experience in collecting, scheduling, processing and reporting information in a data processing environment are required. Human resources experience is preferred. Position also requires demonstrated customer service and computer skills are necessary. Strong organizational skills, attention to details, and ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities is necessary. Must be able to meet posted deadlines. Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise. GEN05 .Salary range:
$34,476.00 (minimum) - $44,778.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
