Administrative Assistant / Customer Success Coordinator (Part-Time) Waterland Canvas Part-Time | $22-25/hour (based on experience) Waterland Canvas is a family-owned marine canvas company looking for an organized, dependable, and motivated individual to work directly with the owner. This is not a typical office job—every day is different, and you'll play an important role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while helping keep the business running smoothly. You'll receive training and guidance on how we communicate with customers, prepare quotes, manage projects, and handle day-to-day operations. We're looking for someone who learns quickly, follows direction well, enjoys solving problems, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Answer customer calls, emails, and messages professionally. Prepare and communicate customer quotes with guidance from the owner. Follow up on quotes and help schedule approved jobs. Keep customers updated throughout the progress of their projects. Handle challenging customer situations with professionalism, patience, and confidence. Collect customer payments and assist with invoicing. Follow up after completed jobs to ensure customer satisfaction. Send thank-you cards and customer appreciation gifts. Organize inventory and help keep the office running efficiently. Create social media posts using guidance from the owner. Assist with scheduling, filing, and other daily administrative tasks. Help identify problems, find solutions, and keep projects moving smoothly. Support the owner with a variety of day-to-day business operations. What We're Looking For Friendly, confident, and professional with excellent communication skills. Able to remain calm and positive when dealing with difficult customers or high-pressure situations. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Quick learner who follows direction well and enjoys taking on new responsibilities. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think ahead. Comfortable multitasking and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated. Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and social media. Customer service, office, administrative, or sales experience is preferred but not required.
