This position works closely with dispatch, warehouse, and management to provide shipment updates, resolve issues, and ensure customers receive accurate and timely information about their freight. Main Duties Answer incoming calls and emails from customers regarding shipments, deliveries, and service questions. Provide shipment status updates, including pickup, transit, and delivery information. Enter and update shipment data in company systems. Track shipments and follow up on delayed, missing, or damaged freight. Communicate with dispatch, warehouse, and other internal departments to resolve customer issues. Assist with scheduling pickups and deliveries when needed. Process customer requests for rate quotes, service changes, or special instructions. Document customer interactions, complaints, and resolutions in the system. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely information is provided to customers. Investigate service issues and escalate problems to management when necessary. Maintain accurate records related to shipments and customer accounts. Support billing and paperwork accuracy by verifying shipment details. Assist with claims processing for damaged or missing freight when required. Maintain a professional and helpful attitude in all customer interactions. Follow company procedures and support overall operational goals.
