Valvoline Instant Oil Change Customer Service Representative At our locally owned Valvoline shops, great service isn't about fast talk or pressure- it's about trust. From the moment a customer pulls in to the final "You're good to go!", we create an experience that's clear, confident, and done right. Role Overview The Customer Service Representative is the face of the operation and the driver of the customer experience. This role bridges the gap between the customer and the shop- guiding the conversation, explaining services, and keeping everything moving smoothly. You'll be expected to communicate with confidence, stay engaged in the work, and step in wherever needed to support the team. Who We're Looking For You'll thrive in this role if you: Communicate naturally and confidently with all types of people Can explain things clearly without overcomplicating them Bring steady energy and a positive attitude Stay aware of what's happening around you and adjust quickly Take ownership of the customer experience from start to finish What You'll Be Responsible For Greet customers and guide them through the service process Ask the right questions and clearly explain recommended services Build trust through honest, straightforward communication Keep workflow moving between customer, upper bay, and lower bay Perform basic services and stay connected to the work being done Support team operations during busy shifts Maintain a clean, professional, and organized environment What You Bring Strong communication skills and customer awareness Confidence without being pushy or overbearing Ability to stay engaged in both conversation and hands-on work Reliability and consistent follow-through A team-first mindset with a willingness to step in Experience & Requirements Customer service or sales experience is a plus, not required Willingness to learn automotive services and terminology Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends Full-time, up to 40 hours per week Must be located near the job site (This is an in-person role)
