Job Summary Join our retail team as a Customer Service Representative, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable shopping experiences for our customers. In this energetic role, you will serve as the friendly face of our store, providing expert assistance, product knowledge, and seamless transactions. Your proactive approach will help drive sales, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain an inviting store environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail skills while making a positive impact on every customer you assist. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their needs. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling. Assist customers with product upselling to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales. Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability. Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, resolving issues efficiently and courteously. Conduct retail math calculations for transactions, discounts, and inventory management to ensure accuracy. Support cashiering duties by managing cash drawers and processing returns or exchanges smoothly. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential. Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic math skills will help you succeed in this role. Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved training or mentoring team members. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse customer base effectively. Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and inventory management will be advantageous. Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette are necessary to build rapport with customers and team members alike.
