In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repairs. You will coordinate between customers, technicians, and parts departments to deliver exceptional auto service management. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Write detailed service estimates using estimating software, ensuring accuracy for repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire services, and transmission diagnostics Upsell additional services and maintenance based on vehicle condition and manufacturer recommendations to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures, costs, and timelines to foster trust and transparency Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repair jobs and ensure timely completion of services including collision repair or automotive diagnostics Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and manage service-related documentation with precision Maintain thorough records of all service orders, client interactions, and vehicle histories for future reference Requirements Proven experience as a Service Writer or in auto service management within a dealership or independent repair shop Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, air brakes, shocks & struts, suspension systems, tire service, oil changes, brake repair, and collision repair Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with auto estimating processes is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Basic cash handling skills and attention to detail in documentation Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive care!
