In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will help guide clients through their service needs, recommend additional services, and ensure a seamless experience from check-in to vehicle pickup. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for automotive repair with exceptional customer service skills, driving both customer satisfaction and dealership success. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and professionally, assessing their vehicle concerns and explaining service options clearly. Write detailed service estimates using estimating software, ensuring accuracy for repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, transmissions, air brakes, and collision repairs. Upsell additional services and maintenance based on vehicle diagnostics and client needs to maximize dealership revenue. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and communicate updates to customers throughout the service process. Manage all aspects of service writing including documenting customer requests, vehicle history, and repair details in the system. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software to assess repairs accurately. Qualifications Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in auto service management within a dealership or automotive repair shop. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension systems, tire service, shocks & struts, air brakes, and collision repair. Proficiency with estimating software and automotive repair systems; experience with auto estimating tools is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; a background in auto service writing or service technician roles is advantageous. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles as needed. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
