We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused professional who is passionate about providing exceptional service to pets and their families. As the first point of contact, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of our hospital. Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role: Greet clients and pets with professionalism and compassion. Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries. Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining accurate medical records. Process payments, deposits, refunds, estimates, and invoices. Enter and update client and patient information in Cornerstone veterinary software. Communicate appointment updates, wait times, and treatment information as directed by the medical team. Assist with patient check-in, obtaining medical histories, weighing patients, and escorting clients to exam rooms. Coordinate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, kennel staff, and hospital leadership. Maintain a clean, organized reception area, exam rooms, and lobby. Restock front office and retail supplies and report inventory or facility concerns. Utilize Workvivo for hospital communications, policies, and team updates. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service experience required; veterinary reception experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced veterinary environment. Comfortable using computers and practice management software. Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
