Job Description As a Field Service Representative, you'll be on the front lines providing operationsand maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for our customers from one of a varietyof industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies focusing onultrafiltration (UF) but including, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange(IX), de-oxygenation and electro deionization. Key Characteristics Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on various treatment plantinstrumentation
Consult with customer management and operation teams
Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
Monitor and optimize equipment performance
Install and provide maintenance activities on various UF/RO membrane configurations
Provide excellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skills Duties & Responsibilities Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, process and controls on equipment such as valves,air compressors, ejectors pumps, blowers, instrumentation, chemical injection systemsand automation hardware
Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technicalsummaries of work performed
Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacementparts
Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC,in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
Review customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings(P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)
Train customer operators around operation and maintenance of their system
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of theirsystem
Education & Experience Required:
High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+years' experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
Valid Driver's License
Must be able to travel occasionally
Preferred:
Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate inInstrumentation Working Conditions 10% Travel
Ability to travel and work in US
Handling Chemicals
Exposure to extreme weather conditions (extreme heat and cold)
