In this energetic role, you will serve as the vital link between our valued clients and our skilled technicians, ensuring that vehicle repairs and maintenance are handled efficiently and professionally. Your ability to communicate clearly, upsell services confidently, and manage multiple tasks will help keep our service department running smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about automotive repair and dedicated to delivering top-tier customer service. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and professionally, understanding their vehicle needs and explaining recommended services with clarity. Write detailed service estimates using estimating software, accurately assessing vehicle conditions such as transmissions, brakes, suspension, tires, shocks & struts, oil changes, hvac, engines, and drivabilty Upsell additional services and maintenance options to enhance vehicle performance and safety while ensuring customer satisfaction. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services. Manage service write-ups, communicate repair progress to clients, and handle customer inquiries effectively. Process cash handling transactions accurately while maintaining a high level of integrity. Maintain thorough records of all service activities, estimates, and client communications for seamless workflow management. Skills Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in auto service management within a dealership or independent repair shop. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a service technician or mechanic preferred. Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle repair estimating tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, tire service, brake repair, suspension work, shocks & struts, and automotive repair procedures. Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining transparency and trust with customers. Experience with auto estimating systems and understanding of operations is a plus. Valid driving license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles if needed.
