Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Meets and greets customers at assigned airport(s) and/or hotels and other venues. Assists customers with luggage, and ensures luggage is properly placed in company vehicles. Coordinates chauffeur arrival at curbside to transport customers. 12:00pm-10:00pmONLY- NO AM
shifts offeredPRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND EXPECTATIONS
Dresses appropriately in companies' standard attire - Provided green polo, solid black slacks and solid black shoes Reports to work on time and maintains presence within assigned work area during assigned work schedule. May be required to work at different airports and/or venues within the same workweek or workday. Communicates with Greeter Dispatcher(s) for details of greeting assignments. Using approved Client signs, prints Customers' names clearly on signs. Monitors ETA of assigned flights, and reports any changes to dispatch center. Communicates flight information to chauffeurs and coordinates chauffeurs' arrival at curbside. Politely greets customers in a friendly and courteous manner, assists with luggage and provides guidance through airport (or other venue) to curbside pickup point. Introduces chauffeur to customer(s). Completes chauffeur spot inspection of cars, as necessary. Reports any chauffeur problems immediately to dispatch office and/or Greeter Supervisor. Maintains assigned equipment in proper working order (e.g., Nextel phone/radio, signs, gearbag with supplies, etc.) Uses assigned equipment in an efficient and proper manner. Other duties as may be reasonably assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School diploma orGED Experience:
At least 3 months of prior customer service experience.Skills:
Excellent customer service skills. Good verbal communication skills in the English language. Able to print clearly and accurately. Able to correctly and efficiently use phone/radio device and/or pager device. Able to read signage and airport arrival boards accurately.Attributes and Characteristics:
Able to anticipate problems and devise accurate solutions. Able to work well with others and report problems or potential problems promptly to management. Presents a neat and well-groomed professional appearance and demeanor. Reliable and dependable. Consistently reports to work on time. Pleasant, friendly and helpful demeanor.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift baggage up to 30lbs. Often requires long period of standing. Often required to move quickly from place to place. Must be able to speak and hear clearly.Personal Appearance:
For men: Hair must be clean and appropriately styled, with length above the collar. Facial hair is not preferred; however, if worn, it must be trimmed and groomed to the contour of the face.For women:
Hair must be clean and appropriately styled away from the face. Hair ornaments are not preferred, but if used should be conservative and with the purpose to hold hair in place. Oral and personal hygiene should be clean and non-offensive. Jewelry is permitted only in moderation, such as a watch and wedding band. Company prescribed dress standards are required.Pay Details:
