Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Call Center Specialist-Client Intake to join our healthcare support team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly and professionally. Duties Manage high-volume inbound phone calls with enthusiasm, providing clear and courteous assistance to clients seeking healthcare support. Collect and verify client information accurately using electronic health records (EHR) systems and data entry tools. Assist clients with appointment scheduling, follow-up procedures, and general inquiries related to health insurance, medical terminology, and healthcare services. Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, updating electronic health records (EHR) efficiently and precisely. Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and data accuracy. Utilize Microsoft Office applications to generate reports, track call metrics, and organize client data for analysis. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette, active listening, and problem-solving skills to resolve client issues effectively while maintaining professionalism. Requirements Proven experience in a call center environment or customer service role within healthcare or related fields. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations effectively. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer skills essential for data entry and record management. Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred. Familiarity with health insurance terminology, medical terminology, and healthcare support processes. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with a focus on phone call management and customer service excellence. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Technical proficiency in using call center software, data entry tools, and analysis skills for reporting purposes. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve customer issues with empathy and professionalism. Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 42.0 per week
