We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Rep/Dispatcher to join our team from our Haltom City, TX location.

Hours:
Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm with some OT as needed. Position Summary The CSR/Dispatcher assists in planning, directing, and coordinating daily driver and dispatch operations. This role ensures efficient routing, driver compliance, equipment readiness, and high levels of customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and optimize driver routes for efficiency and service reliability Manage terminal and dispatch operations, including driver assignments and daily communications Monitor driver progress throughout the day and provide real-time support as needed Ensure drivers complete accurate trip reports, dispatch logs, and manifests Verify driver compliance with pre-trip inspections, uniform standards, and required equipment Ensure company vehicles are clean and meet maintenance and safety standards Report service and maintenance issues to leasing companies and supervisors Track variable expenses including fuel and mileage; report discrepancies or concerns Respond to and resolve customer complaints; take immediate corrective action when necessary Organize freight for cross-dock and rerouting operations Unload or supervise unloading of inbound transfer trucks when required Maintain effective communication with customers, drivers, and internal teams Qualifications Strong understanding of routing and dispatch operations Goal-oriented, flexible, and detail-focused Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to make impartial decisions Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of department operations Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Willingness to be reachable via company-provided phone during off-duty hours for emergencies May require some travel up to 25% Education and Experience High school diploma/GED. Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently. Customer Service and Dispatch professional with Minimum of 2 years experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
