Job Description
Are you an experienced customer service professional ready to turn your skills into a long-term career? Our growing Farmers Insurance agency is looking for a dependable, positive, and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. Previous insurance experience is not required. We are looking for someone with strong customer service experience who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and building lasting client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to enter the insurance industry, develop valuable professional skills, and grow with a successful local agency. Training and support will be provided as you learn our systems, products, and service processes. What You'll Do Assist clients by phone, email, and in person Answer policy, billing, payment, and coverage-related questions Process policy changes and follow up on client requests Identify opportunities to help clients with additional insurance protection Work closely with the agency team to provide an excellent customer experience Assist with retention efforts and help strengthen client relationships What We're Looking For Strong customer service experience; insurance experience is not required Friendly, professional, and excellent communication Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities Comfortable learning new computer systems and processes Motivated to learn about insurance and build a long-term career Able to work effectively in a structured, goal-oriented environment Bilingual English and Spanish is strongly preferred Licensing An active insurance license is not required to apply. The selected candidate must be willing and able to obtain the appropriate insurance license as part of their career development.
