full-time Join Gans & Smith Insurance Agency as a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative, where you will support policy servicing, endorsements, claims, and certificate management for a commercial book of business while building strong client relationships.

Service existing clients by updating policies, providing quotes, taking payments, answering questions, and providing documentation. Answer customer calls and correspondence regarding new or existing policies, and service all claims. Work with new clients or support a producer to understand client needs, research policy options, finalize and bind new coverage, cancel prior policies, and negotiate with carriers when necessary. Set appointments or support a producer to review existing policies, liability limits, exposures, and replacement costs, round out accounts, and bind renewals Quote new business, process renewals and cancellations, take payments, and provide requested documentation Resolve client concerns by identifying the issue, explaining the best solution, and following up to ensure resolution Review audits and policies for accuracy, facilitating corrections between client and carrier as needed Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions in AMS360 Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, and participate in meetings as needed
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent experience Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Active P&C insurance license preferred but not required Minimum of two years commercial lines insurance account management experience required Strong knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills; ability to handle difficult situations and solve complex problems independently Technology proficiency, including AMS360 or other agency management systems.
