Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Smoke Shop Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain store cleanliness, assist with product sales, and ensure compliance with all age-verification requirements. Duties Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service. Assist customers with product selection and answer questions about store merchandise. Operate cash register, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately. Verify customer age and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations. Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain product displays. Keep the store clean, organized, and well-presented. Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items. Assist with receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments. Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently. Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales and safety. Requirements Familiarity with merchandising techniques, product demos, upselling strategies, and stock management practices Knowledge of tobacco, vape, CBD, kratom, and related products Retail sales experience Inventory management experience Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be 21 to apply. Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Must meet minimum age requirements as required by law.
