Virginia Delicious Cakes is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Bakery Customer Service Associate to join our team. This front-of-house role is responsible for assisting customers, promoting and selling cakes, and creating a welcoming experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner
Provide information on cake options, flavors, designs, and pricing
Recommend products based on customer preferences and occasions
Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing display area
Assist with order taking and coordinating customer pickups
Support team members with general front-of-house duties
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 months of customer service or retail experience preferred
Basic knowledge of cakes, flavors, or bakery products is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
