Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative and are hoping to find someone with agronomic or horticultural experience. As part of this sales and service job, you will assist walk-in customers, receive showroom inventory, merchandise products, and learn a great deal about our products. More specifically, you will: Conduct front counter and telephone sales while providing excellent customer service. Maintain a clean and organized showroom. Confer with new and established customer base; promote and take customer orders. Assist outside sales personnel to enhance communication with customer base. Contact customers in response to inquiries and notify them of promotional sales. Support the overall business success and needs of our customers. Perform a variety of various light office work.
The ideal candidate will:
Cheerfully and enthusiastically care for customers' needs. Accept responsibility and account for actions. Communicate effectively. Pay attention to details. Take initiative and complete assignments with little supervision. Be organized and follow policies and systematic method of performing tasks. To apply for this position, you must have high school diploma (or GED), one year of agronomic or horticulture industry, or customer service experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. The candidate will be compensated based on their work experiences and skills, with the minimum starting salary for this position being $17 per hour.
