Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and quickly Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and issuing receipts Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections Conduct product demos when appropriate to showcase features and benefits of merchandise Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication Assist in merchandising efforts to create attractive store displays that highlight key products Support in supervising team members during busy periods, offering guidance on customer interactions and sales techniques Experience Previous experience working with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail or grocery environment is preferred Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles within retail settings are highly valued Familiarity with retail sales transactions, merchandising, and stock management enhances your effectiveness in this role Bilingual ability is a strong asset for communicating with diverse customer groups Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette ensure positive customer interactions Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques contribute to achieving sales goals Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail store product knowledge helps deliver superior service to shoppers This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career while delivering outstanding service.
