Job Description

Summary/Objective:
DePaolo Equine Concepts is a growing equine holistic health and nutrition company dedicated to improving the lives of horses through innovative and personalized products. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Front Office Assistant to become an important part of our team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent organizational skills, and love helping customers, we'd love to hear from you! This position is full time from 8:30 to 5, Monday through Friday.
Personality Required:
Enthusiastic, upbeat, friendly and positive! Able to stay on top of multiple projects, adaptable to changing priorities, intellectually sharp, service-oriented, proactive, team player who understands how to go the extra mile for our customers, completes tasks accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Enter sales orders into QuickBooks and process payments Order processing, packing and shipping Prepare daily shipments and complete the daily post office run. Serve as primary receptionist for walk-in customers Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist customers with questions. Monitor and respond to emails as needed. Maintain organized customer records and office files. Provide administrative support to the office and management team. Perform other general office duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication Exemplary customer service skills Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail a must Outstanding telephone etiquette is essential Horse knowledge or equine industry is a plus Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task Experience with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks is preferred. Must be able to type 35 words per minute Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Required Education:
HS diploma or GED required Associate's/College Degree preferred
