Job Description
Visiting Angels of the Concho Valley is looking for the right person to join our office team. Previous home care or healthcare experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train someone who has the right attitude, work ethic, and heart for helping others. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or build a career in healthcare administration, senior care, or office management. Who We Are Looking For The right person for this position is: Compassionate and genuinely enjoys helping people Dependable and takes responsibility for their work Friendly, professional, and comfortable talking with people Able to remain calm when situations become busy or stressful Organized and able to manage several priorities at once Comfortable using computers and learning new software A problem solver who is willing to look for solutions Able to communicate well with clients, families, caregivers, and coworkers Willing to learn and accept feedback Someone who wants to be part of a small office team where everyone helps when needed What You'll Do This position supports our clients, caregivers, and office team and will include a variety of responsibilities, including: Answering phones and assisting clients, families, caregivers, and prospective clients Helping coordinate caregiver schedules and schedule changes Assisting with new client intake and administrative tasks Communicating with caregivers regarding shifts and client needs Assisting with caregiver orientation and onboarding Maintaining accurate client and employee information Helping with quality assurance and client follow-up Completing occasional client visits as assigned Assisting with general office organization and daily operations Participating in an after-hours on-call rotation Other duties as assigned This is not a position where every day looks exactly the same. Home care changes quickly, and our office team works together to make sure our clients are cared for and our caregivers have the support they need. Experience Experience is welcome, but heart, dependability, and willingness to learn matter just as much to us. Experience in any of the following would be helpful: Home care or senior care Healthcare Scheduling or dispatching Customer service Administrative or office work Working with seniors or individuals with disabilities We also encourage applicants who are early in their careers and looking for an opportunity to learn and grow. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Clean driving record Ability to pass required criminal background checks Strong communication and organizational skills Basic computer skills Ability to participate in the after-hours on-call rotation Ability to handle confidential information professionally Pay $15.00-$17.00 per hour , based on experience, skills, and qualifications. About Visiting Angels Visiting Angels of the Concho Valley provides non-medical home care that helps seniors and adults remain safe and independent in their homes. Our office team works closely with clients, families, and caregivers every day. We can teach the systems, processes, and details of home care. Pay:
