This is an in office position, Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Answering phone calls and greeting customers with a positive attitude Provide excellent customer service to existing clients which include- billing inquiries, policy changes, claim submissions, and more. Gather information needed to provide insurance quotes to prospects and work with customers during the sale while informing and educating on insurance coverage needs. Keep record of all customer interactions, update customer accounts and file documents in management system Identify new business opportunities for both new customers and existing customers Actively seeking referrals and rounding out current business
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous customer service experience required, minimum of 2 years. Must have General Lines Property and Casualty license or obtain it within 90 days of employment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to provide customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients Must pass background check Must be reliable and punctual Strong moral ethics Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including Word and Outlook) High School degree or equivalent
