Zimmerer Kubota & Equipment in Van Alstyne is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Tractor/Equipment Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service by coordinating tractor and equipment service and maintenance requests. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers, ensuring their equipment service needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service:

Greet customers and establish a positive rapport. Listen to customer concerns and questions related to tractor and equipment service needs. Provide information and advice on service options, including cost estimates. Schedule service appointments and communicate service timelines to customers. Address customer inquiries and maintain clear communication throughout the service process.

Service Coordination:

Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely and efficient service. Track the progress of ongoing service jobs and keep customers informed. Coordinate equipment drop-off and pick-up. Ensure all service documentation is accurate and complete.

Parts and Inventory Management:

Assist customers in identifying and ordering the necessary parts and accessories. Maintain knowledge of available inventory and pricing. Manage parts inventory and replenishment as needed.

Technical Knowledge:

Stay up-to-date on Kubota tractor and equipment models, specifications, and service procedures. Provide basic technical assistance and troubleshooting to customers. Refer complex technical questions to qualified service technicians.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain accurate service records and customer information. Generate invoices and process payments. Handle warranty claims and paperwork as necessary. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service area.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a customer service or service advisor role, preferably in the automotive or equipment industry. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic technical knowledge and an eagerness to learn more about Kubota equipment. Proficiency in computer software and systems used for scheduling and inventory management. Valid driver's license. Bilingual applicant preferred.
