Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Kubota Construction and Agriculture Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers requiring service and maintenance for their construction and agricultural equipment. Your expertise will ensure efficient service delivery, foster strong customer relationships, and promote the sale of additional services and parts. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair, and dealership operations, enabling them to provide exceptional support to our clients and contribute to the overall success of our service department. Duties Act as the main liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring clear communication of service needs and expectations. Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge to accurately assess repairs required. Prepare detailed estimates utilizing estimating software, including labor, parts, and additional services. Promote upselling opportunities by recommending appropriate maintenance services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission repairs. Manage service writing processes efficiently to document customer concerns, repair procedures, and billing details. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of service orders. Handle customer inquiries professionally while providing expert advice on equipment maintenance and repair options. Assist in inventory management by recommending parts replacements based on vehicle or equipment condition. Maintain accurate records of transactions including cash handling and invoicing. Support dealership sales efforts by identifying opportunities for additional sales during service interactions. Stay updated on industry trends related to automotive repair, collision repair, auto estimating, and new diagnostic techniques. Skills Proven experience in dealership or automotive service environments with a strong background in mechanic work and automotive diagnostics. Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools. Extensive mechanical knowledge covering vehicle maintenance, transmissions, oil changes, air brakes, shocks & struts, tire services, suspension work, brake repairs, and oil change procedures. Experience with auto service management systems and service writing processes. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity and professionalism. Familiarity with collision repair processes is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and recordkeeping. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate various types of construction or agricultural equipment is desirable.
