Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Care II professional for an onsite contract opportunity in Webster, TX. The Customer Care II representative will serve as a primary point of contact for customer service needs, including phone orders, order status updates, returns, credits, product availability, shipment tracking, and issue resolution. This opportunity offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, steady customer interaction, and the chance to contribute to a collaborative workplace where accuracy, professionalism, and responsive service are highly valued. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer service inquiries, order support, product availability, delivery updates, and issue resolution.
  • Accurately enter and process customer orders, RMAs, credits, and account updates in ERP/CRM systems while verifying pricing, payment terms, addresses, item numbers, purchase orders, freight terms, contracts, and ship dates.
  • Manage incoming customer phone calls efficiently while providing professional, timely, and helpful support.
  • Review open order reports and customer account issues, including backorders, request dates, credit holds, and shipment tracking.
  • Communicate with internal teams such as inventory control, purchasing, marketing, credit, technical services, and warehouse operations to resolve order and account issues.
  • Follow company policies and procedures when handling pricing, shipments, returns, credits, adjustments, and customer account concerns. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay:
    $21 per hour.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Assignment Type:
    Contract/temporary.
  • Duration:
    6 months.
  • Work Arrangement:
    Onsite in Webster, TX. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two to three years of customer service experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at one time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional customer service approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering orders, reviewing account information, and processing documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions within established guidelines, and follow company policies.
  • Ability to remain calm, logical, and professional when handling stressful or fast-paced situations.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed. Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Experience using ERP and CRM systems preferred.
  • Experience processing orders, returns, credits, and shipment-related documentation in a customer support environment preferred.
