Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-focused Member Services Representative to join our team in Arlington, Virginia on a Contract basis. This entry-level opportunity supports preparations for a large annual meeting by helping organize and assemble chapter materials with a high degree of accuracy. The role is well suited for someone who is patient, dependable, and comfortable handling repetitive tasks while maintaining strong quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare chapter leader ribbon and streamer packages for the annual meeting, ensuring each set is assembled correctly and ready for distribution.
- Review chapter-specific instructions and use checklists to confirm that materials are complete, accurate, and matched to the correct chapter.
- Sort and arrange materials for a high volume of chapters, keeping multiple sets organized and clearly separated throughout the process.
- Inspect finished packets carefully and perform quality checks to reduce mistakes before items are finalized.
- Label, stage, and organize completed materials so they can be distributed efficiently at the event.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area while tracking supplies and keeping chapter items properly accounted for.
- Support the preparation of badges, packets, and other chapter-related event materials as additional needs arise. Requirements
- Ability to complete repetitive hands-on tasks with consistency, focus, and close attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple material sets without mixing items or losing accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency, including comfort with common office tasks and data entry.
- Typing skills sufficient to support administrative and material preparation duties.
- Customer service experience, preferably in a call center or other fast-paced service environment.
- Ability to follow written instructions carefully and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to remain seated or stand and walk for extended periods while performing assigned tasks.
