Casual work attire On-the-job training ## Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outdoor power equipment or automotive repair and excellent customer service skills. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, recommending necessary repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. ## Responsibilities- Greet customers and provide them with information on available services
- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document issues
- Look up parts
- Keep customer updated on status, price, parts availability and estimated time frame of repairs.
- Pull & fill parts orders for all shop repair work
- Answer questions about service schedule setup appointments
- Write Service Tickets
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and communicate with customers regarding recommended services
- Upsell additional services or maintenance as needed
- Coordinate with Service Manager and service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process ## Qualifications
- Decission Maker / Problem Solver / Customer Service Advocate
- Previous experience in an automotive dealership or repair shop preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle issues
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
