Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, including product demos and inquiries Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to enhance product visibility and appeal Upsell products by recommending complementary items and informing customers about current promotions Stock shelves, manage inventory levels, and assist with merchandise replenishment to keep the store neat and inviting Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online channels Conduct product demos when applicable, showcasing features and benefits to encourage sales Assist with basic grocery store operations such as stocking perishable goods or managing checkout lanes during busy periods Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operation in a retail or grocery environment Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings or task management Bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases effectively Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain products and handle customer concerns Strong retail math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and balancing registers at shift end Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately in fast-paced situations Familiarity with grocery store operations is beneficial but not required Demonstrated sales skills with a focus on upselling and promoting products confidently Join us in creating memorable shopping experiences!
