Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repairs. Your enthusiasm, mechanical knowledge, and exceptional communication skills will ensure a positive experience for every client. You will coordinate service appointments, explain repair options, and facilitate efficient vehicle servicing to keep our customers satisfied and their vehicles running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your automotive expertise with your passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Prepare detailed service estimates using auto estimating software and explain repair options clearly to customers Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that enhance vehicle performance and safety Manage service writing, documentation, and invoicing accurately while handling cash transactions responsibly Maintain thorough knowledge of automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, tire service, alignment, suspension, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, auto body repair, and other automotive repairs Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business Skills Proven automotive experience with a strong understanding of automotive service management Extensive mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and diesel engines Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Experience in upselling services while maintaining integrity and customer trust Background in mechanic work or service technician roles is highly desirable Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Knowledge of auto body repair, air brake systems, alignment procedures, shocks & struts replacement, tire services, oil changes, and other routine maintenance tasks Strong sales aptitude with a focus on automobile sales when appropriate Experience using dealertrack and xtime is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to leverage their automotive expertise while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Pay:
$71,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
